New Customers Guide

Welcome to Let’s Write Online which offers a huge selection of cards, gifts and stationery products. All the product categories are listed down the left hand side of the page, so if you are after ‘stationery’ items simply click on stationery and this will direct you to the stationery pages.

If on the other hand you are looking for something specifically related to a theme, such as ‘dogs’ you can click on the theme categories, this will in turn display all products relating to that theme.

If you are not sure what you are looking for but just want to have a look at the kind of items we have on offer click on the ‘Random Pick’ button at the top of the page, which will display a random selection of our products to give you some inspiration.

Your final option, if you are looking for something a bit more specific, is to type in related search words e.g. product name, product type, or theme into the Search field, which can be found at the top of each page. An example would be ‘Dogs’; a page will then be displayed with all related products whos name or description contains the word 'dogs'.

To get other information relating to the shop, where we are, how to contact us and terms and conditions, etc. simply click on the related buttons found at both the top and left hand side of all pages.

Either way, when you want to purchase a product, find it using any of the above methods listed and press the ‘Add to basket’ button which will add it to your basket. Choose the quantity you want and carry on shopping until you are finished. Click the Checkout button and follow the instructions listed.

How do I order items?

Once you have found the product you are looking for on the website, simply click the ‘Add to Basket’ button once and that item will then be added to your basket for later.

How can I pay for my items?

Lets Write online accepts most credit and debit cards. However, we do not accept American Express or Diners card.

Can I order more than one item?

Yes. Once you go to the checkout you can select how many of each item you would like to purchase by typing the desired number into the quantity field.

Note: if you order several of the same items your order may take longer, as that quantity may not be available. We will contact you if this is the case.

How do I remove items from my basket?

To remove an item from your basket simply click the ‘Remove Item’ button once and that item will be removed from your order.

If you wish to change the quantity of an item change the number in the quantity field and click the update button.

Do prices shown include VAT?

No. The prices on this website do not currently include VAT and VAT will not be added to any orders placed on the site at this time.

Let's Write do not add VAT to any orders, nor supply VAT invoices at this time because we are not a VAT Registered Company.

Where is your shop?

See the Contact Us page to obtain details on how to find us. If you have Sat Nav simply enter the Postcode: CA10 2DH and look for Wetheriggs Pottery.

How long will it take for my Items to be delivered?

If you order consist of items which are all in stock it will be despatched within 2 -3 days. Depending on the size of your order and whether or not items in your basket are in stock your order may take longer to be put together and posted to you. We will always try our best to get your items to you as soon as we can and we will contact you if there are any problems.

What are your delivery charges?

The cost of P&P for all orders is currently a flat fee and added to your order at the checkout. This fee is currently set at £4.95.

Do you deliver overseas?

At the present time we are unable to deliver orders outside of the UK, but this is something we are working on for the future, so keep checking the website for updates, or contact us to discuss your specific requirments.

The locations we classify as qualifying as UK addresses are: England (including Isle of Man and Isle of Wight, excluding Channel Islands) Scotland (including the Orkney and Shetland Islands) Wales and Northern Ireland.

What do I do if there is a problem with my delivered order?

If you have any queries relating to your delivered order please do not hesitate to contact us using the contact information provided on the Contact Us page and we will do our best to resolve the problem.

Can I Cancel An Order?

Once an order has been placed with us we can only allow the order to be cancelled by 8:00pm the following day if you sucessfully Contact Us.

How can I return an item?

If you have had a problem with any order and wish to return an item please see our Returns Policy for instructions.

Do you offer refunds?

We can offer you a refund or replacement for any product which is reported to be faulty on delivery within 28 days of purchase. Please report any such problems using the Contact Us page of the website.

What if an item is out of stock?

If an item is listed as out of stock please feel free to Contact Us and we will be able to contact you when the item comes back into stock, or keep checking the website to see when it is back in. Another option is to look at the related products which can be found just below each item you have selected, to see if there is something else that you would like instead.

Why is a product no longer listed on your website?

Lets Write, along with its suppliers, sometimes changes product lines and introduces new items for customers to purchase. If there is a discontinued product you were particularly interested in purchasing please Contact Us to see if we can help.

Do you offer discounts for bulk purchases?

If you are looking to purchase a large quantity of items please feel free to Contact Us to discuss a discount that we may be able to offer you.

Is it possible to purchase a ‘Let’s Write’ gift voucher?

Yes. We now offer Lets Write gift vouchers consisting of £5, £10, £15 and £20 vouchers, which we can post out to you and they make a perfect gift, with room for you to write a personal note.

How can I get more information about a product?

We are always happy to answer your questions so if you are looking for a little bit more detail about an item, even if it is just to know the size of a card please do not hesitate to get in contact with us so we can help.

Let's Write Will Be Moving

The current owners of Wetheriggs Pottery have allowed the site to deteriorate to such an extent that they have now decided to close this popular tourist attraction - and at very short notice to the tenants!!!

We hope that we will find a new location in the Penrith area as soon as possible to re-open Let's Write!

As soon as we have found a new location for our shop we will let you know here on our website, so please check back reguarly to find out where we have moved to.

Please note that the Animal Rescue Center will continue to be at Wetheriggs and they would really welcome your ongoing support for the rescued animals, so please keep visiting them whenever you can.
